Since 2013, the Werkstoffworkshop Alpbach, organized by ASMET, has brought together leading minds from the metals industry to tackle forward-looking topics. This year, the focus is on AI applications in material development and production.
MCL, amongst others, is co-event organizer and will play a central role in the workshop, contributing key insights on the use of AI to support the development of green materials, as well as cutting-edge applications of AI in material development. Their contributions reflect a strong commitment to innovation and sustainability in the materials sector.

MCL ist Co-Veranstalter beim Werkstoffworkshop Alpbach am 20. August 2025
Seit 2013 bringt der Werkstoffworkshop Alpbach, organisiert von ASMET, führende Expertinnen und Experten aus der Metallindustrie zusammen, um gemeinsam zukunftsrelevante Themen zu diskutieren. Im Mittelpunkt steht heuer das Thema „KI-Anwendungen in der Werkstoffentwicklung und Werkstoffproduktion“.
Das MCL ist neben anderen Institutionen Co-Veranstalter und bringt außerdem fundierte Einblicke in die Anwendung von KI zur Entwicklung grüner Materialien sowie in moderne KI-gestützte Ansätze der Materialforschung ein. Die Beiträge des MCL unterstreichen das klare Bekenntnis zu Innovation und Nachhaltigkeit im Werkstoffbereich.
