Recently, the first edition of the Workshop on Physics-Informed Machine Learning and Hybrid Modelling successfully took place in Leoben as part of the Austrian Symposium on AI, Robotics and Vision (@AIRoV).
Organised by Bernhard Geiger and Stefan Posch (TU Graz) together with Manfred Mücke (MCL), the workshop brought together researchers to present peer-reviewed work and exchange ideas on the latest advances in physics-informed machine learning and hybrid modelling.
A highlight of the event was the keynote by Nils Thuerey (TU Munich) on Differentiable PDE Solvers for Numerical Simulations
With strong interest and lively discussions throughout, a follow-up workshop is already planned for 2027.

Workshop zu Physics-Informed Machine Learning und hybrider Modellierung
Die erste Ausgabe des Workshop on Physics-Informed Machine Learning and Hybrid Modelling fand kürzlich in Leoben im Rahmen des Austrian Symposium on AI, Robotics and Vision (@AIRoV) statt.
Organisiert von Bernhard Geiger und Stefan Posch (TU Graz) gemeinsam mit Manfred Mücke (MCL), brachte der Workshop Forschende zusammen, um begutachtete Arbeiten zu präsentieren und sich über aktuelle Entwicklungen im Bereich Physics-Informed Machine Learning und hybrider Modellierung auszutauschen.
Ein besonderes Highlight war die Keynote von Nils Thuerey (TU München) zum Thema Differentiable PDE Solvers for Numerical Simulations
Aufgrund des großen Interesses und der lebhaften Diskussionen ist bereits eine Folgeveranstaltung für 2027 geplant.
