At MCL, the application of state-of-the-art software is an important basis for our research activities. In addition to using available scientific and commercial programs, we develop in-house software to facilitate a user-friendly handling of complex calculation workflows.
CCGS (Cyclic Crack Growth Software) was developed at MCL and allows to estimate fatigue crack growth for different notch and component geometries under variable amplitude loading.

Unsere Cyclic Crack Growth Software
Die Verwendung von Software am neuesten Stand der Technik ist eine wichtige Grundlage für die Forschungsaktivitäten am MCL. Zusätzlich zur Verwendung verfügbarer wissenschaftlicher und kommerzieller Programme entwickeln wir auch eigene Softwarepakete, um komplexe Berechnungsabläufe benutzerfreundlich durchführen zu können.
Die Software CCGS (Cyclic Crack Growth Software) wurde am MCL entwickelt und erlaubt die Abschätzung des Wachstums von Ermüdungsrissen für verschiedene Kerb-, Riss- und Bauteilgeometrien bei Belastung mit variablen Amplituden.
